He was a featured pianist on Ray Charles' Grammy-winning Genius Loves Company album. My New Old Friend offers intensely personal renditions of some unusual standards, as well as many of Alan's moving original compositions. This intimate piano trio setting also features drummer Peter Erskine and bassist Darek Oles.
